Group Sunday is a custom avatar platform that allows users to create customized interactive virtual avatars. The avatars generated on the platform are highly personalized and capable of holding real, human-like conversations via voice or text.
Group Sunday enables users to upload photos to generate custom avatars. It offers a voice cloning feature that captures the natural tone, rhythm, and character of a person's voice. Along with this, the application also allows users to upload documents, photos, and memories to make the avatar learn who it's meant to be and adopt the defined personality. Drawing on the provided documents and memories, the avatar answers questions naturally.
What sets Group Sunday apart is its versatility. The platform allows users to create avatars for both personal and professional use. It can create a business persona trained on professional documents, or preserve a loved one's memory as a personal avatar. Apart from this, the user also gets to control who can access their avatar. The platform offers private settings that allow selected users to interact with the avatar or keep it public and accessible to all.
The challenge the client faced was developing a customized virtual avatar platform that could serve both personal and professional use cases equally well. They wanted the platform to be a one-stop solution for both users who wish to create avatars of the loved ones they've lost and for those who wish to use the avatars to interact with professional personalities.
Along with this aspect, the client placed a strong emphasis on making the avatar feel highly realistic. They did not want the avatars to feel like they were scripted. They wanted the avatar to interact and converse like a human. The client wanted to implement this idea by enabling voice-based interactions to give users an experience of actually talking to someone.
The process for developing the custom avatar platform started with consultation sessions. These sessions helped our team understand the client's vision, figure out the requirements, and create a proper development roadmap.
Walking by the roadmap, our dedicated developers first worked on the avatar generation layer, which will help users upload a photo and generate a realistic animated avatar from it. Next up, our team started working on the voice cloning layer. This layer will create samples of captured voice and train a model to replicate the persona the avatar is made of.
This step was then followed by development of the memory and document processing layer of Group Sunday virtual avatar platform. It supports the image, video, audio, document, and text uploading feature. Alongside this, the personality layer was built to allow users in defining the tone, values, and communication style of the avatar.
After this, our developers moved on developing the conversation engine, integrated speech-to-text, context retrieval, and response generating capabilities. This was followed by real-time facial animation, and adding public and private access controls. After all these components were developed, our team started connecting them altogether.
Our quality analysts started testing the platform, all while validating it with the client. Once the application matched the client’s expectations, it was deployed with continuous monitoring to ensure smooth performance in real-world environments.
The outcome of our dedication was Group Sunday, a custom avatar platform, that did much more than generate avatars. The platform served both professional and personal use cases. It allowed users to upload photos, documents, and memories of their loved ones to create their avatar and interact with them in natural conversations, supported by both voice and chat.
Along with this, Group sunday virtual avatar platform also helped users generate avatars of business personas, upload relevant documents, and talk to them. The platform’s voice cloning blended with the real-time facial animation and context-aware and memory grounded response features adds to the realism of the conversations.
What made it even more impressive was the access controls. The platform gave users complete over their avatars. It allowed them to make their avatars available publicly, or share them with limited users through private access settings.
Quytech did an amazing job on Group Sunday. They overcame the dual challenge of building avatars for both business and personal use, something we were initially skeptical about, handling it with a lot of care and technical depth. The final result came out to be much better than what we had envisioned. The voice cloning and the ability to customise personality proved to be much more natural than we had expected. We definitely recommend Quytech.
